Pseudofolliculitis Barbae, the medical term
for ingrown hair, is caused by hair not growing
correctly out of the skin pore, either being trapped on
it's way out or growing back on itself and into the skin
surface.
This usually occurs after shaving, when hair is cut
near the surface and at an angle, the exiting hair is
sharp and can bury itself quite deeply. Healthy skin
reacts to the prescence of this 'foreign body' with an
inflammatory response (swelling, redness and itching)
which is commonly referred to as a razor bump.
Ingrow Rescue™ works in two distinct ways:
- It causes the targeted skin water pressure to
increase (pushing out)
- It gently removes the upper layer of skin cells,
thereby alleviating the blockage.

Apply directly to areas of ingrown hairs. Leave for
ten minutes, then try to tease out any deep hairs with
tweezers. DO NOT TWEEZE THE HAIR OUT COMPLETELY - use a
regular removal method. Apply to areas after every shave
or other hair removal method to help prevent
unexfoliated skin from trapping hairs growing
through.
Your normal skin care programme may be followed after
end of treatment & removal of Ingrow Rescue.
We endorse the use of sun protection.
