The epidermis (the outer layer which we can see and
touch) is covered with a layer of dead skin cells, which
flake off naturally and are replaced by newer, fresher
looking cells from underneath. With age, sun exposure,
pollution and other environmental factors, there is a
slow down in this regeneration process. This causes the
skin’s surface to be dull, dry and blemished,
contributing to an aged appearance.
Prelase is used to ‘dissolve’ the outer layer of dead
cells, revealing the underlying skin and promoting a
smoother, brighter, healthier appearance. With ongoing
treatments, Prelase can improve dry skin, age spots
& hyperpigmentation, oily & acne-prone skin and
fine lines.
An ideal treatment for those who can’t find the time
for regular deep-peel and laser resurfacing salon
treatments.

Why is the pH level important?
Dermatologists have determined that for a peel
treatment (fast peel, not leave-on) to be effective, the
pH level must be between 2.5 & 3.0.
Why? If the pH is above 3.0, the treatment will not
exfoliate the skin enough to be beneficial. If the pH is
below 2.5, the treatment can actually be damaging to the
skin, destroying protective barriers that aren't meant
to be broken. This eventually has the opposite effect of
Prelase and results in dry skin, hyperpigmentation, fine
lines and wrinkles.
Use no more than once weekly as part of exfoliating
protocol. Apply to clean dry skin; Apply a thin layer of
Prelase to face, avoiding upper & lower eyelids and
lips. For initial session, leave on for 5 mins,
gradually building up to 20-30 mins, depending on
tolerance. Remove thoroughly with tepid water, pat dry
and if used, apply Injection-Free, solution-based
products, hydrator, sunscreen or make-up.
Note: Mild stinging, redness & flakiness
is normal. If aggressive however, discontinue using
product. Do not use on broken skin, or if undergoing
professional resurfacing treatment. Avoid sunbeds &
sunbathing at all times.
We endorse the use of sun
protection.
